For the 57th award ceremony of the Theodor Heuss Stiftung, I documented honourees and moments of the event: Among those awarded were the human rights organisation Memorial (Russia) – shortly after its forced dissolution by the Russian state –, Al Jumhuriya, an independent Syrian platform for critical journalism, NSU Watch, the civil society network documenting far-right NSU terrorism in Germany, and others. Published as graphic recordings and editorial illustrations in the foundation’s yearbook.
Für die 57. Preisverleihung der Theodor Heuss Stiftung zeichnete ich Preisträger*innen und Momente der Veranstaltung: Ausgezeichnet wurden die Menschenrechtsorganisation Memorial (Russland) – kurz nach ihrer Zwangsauflösung durch den russischen Staat, sowie Al Jumhuriya, eine unabhängige syrische Medienplattform für kritischen Journalismus, NSU Watch, das zivilgesellschaftliche Netzwerk zur Aufarbeitung des rechtsextremen NSU-Terrors in Deutschland und weitere. Erschienen als Graphic Recordings und redaktionelle Illustrationen im Jahrbuch der Stiftung.
For the 56th award ceremony, I documented honourees and moments around solidarity and democratic engagement. The main prize went to political economist Maja Göpel; among the honourees was also GoBanyo, the Hamburg initiative for people experiencing homelessness. Published as vignettes and graphic recording in the foundation’s yearbook.
Für die 56. Preisverleihung zeichnete ich Preisträger*innen und Momente rund um Solidarität und demokratisches Engagement. Hauptpreisträgerin war die Politökonomin Maja Göpel, ausgezeichnet wurde u.a. auch GoBanyo, die Hamburger Initiative für Menschen ohne Obdach. Erschienen als Graphic Recording im Jahrbuch der Stiftung.
