Postkarte für das Ruhr Museum
Für die Sonderausstellung »überLeben in der Eiszeit« – Teil der Paläontologischen Landesausstellung NRW auf dem UNESCO-Welterbe Zollverein – gestaltete ich eine Postkarte. Das Motiv lädt Besucher*innen ein, über ihre eigene Handlungsfähigkeit insbesondere mit Blick auf die Klimakrise nachzudenken.
For the special exhibition »About Life in the Ice Age« at Ruhr Museum Essen – part of the Palaeontological State Exhibition of North Rhine-Westphalia – I created a postcard illustration inviting visitors to reflect on their own agency in the face of the climate crisis.

Die Erdkugel zieht sich als visuelles Thema durch die gesamte Ausstellung. Für die Postkarte habe ich das aufgegriffen und eine Superheldin mit Cape draus gemacht, die die Welt stemmt.
Was da drin steckt: die Gedankenschleife „Ich allein kann das nicht retten.“ Und die Frage, wer eigentlich die meiste Last trägt – in der Klimakrise, wie in der Care-Arbeit.
The globe runs as a visual theme throughout the exhibition. For the postcard, I went with a female superhero in a cape holding the world.
What’s packed in: the thought loop of „I can’t save this alone.“ And the question of who carries most of the weight – in the climate crisis, as in care work.
