Would Like to Meet

In autumn 2025, I took part in Would Like to Meet, an international artist residency initiated by Quarantine, bringing together artists from Chemnitz and Manchester.

Paired with Manchester-based artist Sam Bonser, we spent time drawing, observing and getting a bit lost in both cities. Our sketches revolve around everyday encounters, clumsiness, and the quiet imperfections of people.

In Manchester, we wandered through streets, cafés and museums, collecting fragments and impressions. Back in Chemnitz, we focused on shaping a result: within four days, we produced a short animation and developed a small zine, combining our drawings into a loose, collage-like publication.

The zine is currently available at the Museum Gunzenhauser in Chemnitz.

A cute note from Manchester!
